SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The purpose of this work session is to broadly cover the topic of environmental and sustainability initiatives and as defined by the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan. An overview of other
programs and initiatives will be provided as case studies. Staff will suggest new initiatives and public outreach strategies to ensure our public is involved and engaged in upcoming
efforts. Staff will also cover the issue of solid waste, recycling and composting and will ask key questions that could inform the upcoming Solid Waste Request for Proposals (RFP).
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide general direction to staff on the sustainability initiatives.
