SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Historic Preservation Commission would like to apply for a Shelton Foundation grant in the amount of $2400 to support the design and construction of historical interpretive
signage at Brown Park to educate visitors about the timber industry use of the site and the steam equipment used in the former mill.
If awarded, these Shelton Foundation funds will be used to match a pending grant from the Idaho State Historical Society in the amount of $2500, thereby alleviating the need for City
matching funds.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve submittal of a Shelton Foundation grant application to support interpretive signage in Brown Park and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
