SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Councilor Thrower, as the City’s representative to the Payette River National Scenic Byway organization, will present the organization’s request that member agencies provide letters
of support for the grant application that Idaho Transportation Department is submitting to the Federal Highways Administration for new signage along the byway corridor.
A sample letter of support is attached. If approved, the letter will be placed on city letterhead for the Mayor’s signature.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the letter of support for Idaho Department of Transportation’s grant application to the Federal Highways Administration and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
