NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana; SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND 3000-Other Services & Charges $ 68,350. $ 68,350, SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , 1989, by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the year 1989 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Proof of Publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilmember moved the Proof of Publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilmember and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 41-1989, President Hutton announced Ordinance No. 41-1989 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 41-1989 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro, Lundy, Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Morris, Paust and Hutton Nays: None Absent: The vote being 9 to 0 in favor of the passage of Ordinance No. 41-1989. Presently the Contractual Services Fund (3990) has $35,066.70. On June 16th, a payment of $48,000.00 will need to be made on the street sweeper loans from this Contractual Services Fund. The transfer can come from Temporary Help (1197) in the amount of $25,000.00 and Regular Salaries (1196) $19,000.00. This will cover the contractual payment for a sweeper, use of manpower service and periodic contractual tree removal through September. When the 1989 budget was appropriated, the use of Manpower Services, Inc. had not yet been decided upon.
