SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On February 27, 2020, Council selected TO Engineering to prepare a new Airport Master Plan in compliance with FAA regulations. The FAA paid 90% of the costs for the project, the state
paid 5% and the city paid 5%. Since that time staff and TO Engineers have worked with the Airport Advisory Committee, FAA, and the public to prepare a draft Airport Master Plan for
Council’s review and adoption. This work session is to review the Plan in detail with Council, answer Council’s question and receive Council’s feedback on any changes. The final plan
will be brought back to Council at a future meeting for adoption.
Attached are a memo from TO Engineers and Airport Manager Emily Hart and the full Master Plan.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Review the Airport Master Plan with the Airport Manager and TO Engineering and give direction to staff.
