HomeMy Public PortalAbout052-1989- SETTING SALARIES WAGES AND POSITIONS FOR APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE SANITARY FIDTRICTORDINANCE NO. 52-1989 AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE SALARIES, WAGES AND POSITIONS FOR APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE RICHMOND SANITARY DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1990 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1990, AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF SANITARY COMMISSIONERS. WHEREAS; Indiana Code, I.C. 36-9-25-10 authorizes the Richmond Board of Sanitary Commissioners to set the positions, salaries and wages of its officers and employees; and, WHEREAS; the Board of Sanitary Commissioners recommended the positions, salaries and wages of its officers and employees be set, pursuant to its Resolution No. 6- 1989, adopted July 11, 1989; and WHEREAS; the Common Council of the City of Richmond desires to ratify the positions, wages and salaries of the Sanitary District as set forth in Resolution No. 6-1989 and to incorporate Resolution No. 6-1989 of the Richmond Board of Sanitary Commissioners into the salary ordinance of the City of Richmond, Ordinance No. 44-1 989: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana That: SECTION 1. Resolution No. 6-1989, adopted by the Board of Commissioners for the Richmond Sanitary District on July 11, 1989, is hereby adopted by reference, ratified and incorporated into this Ordinance as supplementing the salary ordinance for other City of Richmond officers and employees, being Ordinance No. 44-1989. SECTION 2. Resolution No. 6-1989 of the Board of Sanitary Commissioners assigns the following salaries to the following City officials. CITY ATTORNEY 14,212. CITY CONTROLLER 10,032. DEPUTY CONTROLLER 5,274. PAYROLL MANAGER/RECT. CLERK 3,465. DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES 6,726. PURCHASING DIRECTOR 1 1 ,152. PURCHASING/CONTROLLER COORDINATOR 5,334. DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS 10,241, COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTSMAN 8,931. LEGALSECRETARY 1,683. JR. ACCOUNTANT/COMPUTER OPERATOR 3,366. Such allocation has been provided for in Ordinance No. 44-1989 and are included here for illustrative purposes only , and are not intended as additional compensation beyond the total salaries established for those positions in Ordinance No. 44-1989. SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 44-1989 shall be forwarded to the Richmond Board of Sanitary Commissioners.
