September 21, 1964. A special meeting of Town Council was held today at 8 P.M. and was attended by Mayor Brown, who presided, and Councilmen Hosti, Powers, Waters and Fleetwood. The meeting wgs called for the purpose of discussing and passing Resolution .authorizing the Mayor to make application for disaster funds. Councilman Hosti moved that the following Resolution authorizing the Mayor to make application for disaster funds at Savannah Beach be adopted. Councilman Waters seconded and the motion passed. R E S O L U T I O N EXHIBIT "A" Attachment or Application No.- -BE IT RESOLVED BY Mayor and Council of Town of Savannah Beach, Ga. (Governing Body) (Public Entity) THAT James A. Brown Mayor (Name of imcumbert) (Official Position) be and he is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of Town of Savannah Beach, a public entity established under the laws of the State of Georgia, this application and to file it in the appropriate State office for the purpose of obtaining certain Federal financial assistance under the Federal Disaster Act (Public Law 875, 81st .Congress; 42 U.S.C. 1955- 1855g).
