HomeMy Public PortalAbout001-2013 - To fix salaries and wagesBOARD OF ST0RMWATER MANAGEMENT CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA RESOLUTION I -2013 WHEREAS, a Resolution is required to fix salaries and wages for all appointed officers and 20I3 employees of the Richmond Sanitary Department of Richmond, Indiana., for the calendar year beginning January 1, 2013 and ending December 31, 2013. WHEREAS, the compensation fixed herein may not be increased, except by amended resolution, during the budget year for which it is fixed but may be Salary reduced by the Director for each appointive officer and employee Administration (with the exception of Board Members). WHEREAS, a Resolution is required to amend Resolution 14 -2012 which Director is known as the 2013 Salary Resolution adopted by the Board 2,772.79 ' 4 of Sanitary Commissioners of the Richmond Sanitary District EnE!ineer District Engineer District of Richmond, Indiana for the Calendar year 2013. WHEREAS, it is now necessary to make adjustments beginning September 1, 2013. WHEREAS, since the passage of Ordinance No. 37 -2013 by the Richmond 2,480.77 Common Council transferring responsibilities and functions Operator of Record & IN Permits Coord. of the Department of Stormwater Management to the Richmond 1,912.72 Sanitary District, it is necessary for the Board of Stormwater Health & Safety Officer Management to approve the salaries and wages for the appointed 1,651.85 officers and employees of the Richmond Sanitary District. The Board of Stormwater Management shall set compensation for these employees within the range from $7.85 to $15.00 per hour. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a portion of such salary and hourly rates, as herein set forth, be provided by the Department of Stormwater Management of Richmond, Indiana, beginning September 1, 2013 and ending December 31 st, 2013. In addition to the above salaries (with the exception of Board Members) employees shall be entitled to the same fringe benefits and additional compensation as set forth within the City of Richmond Policy Manual or as stated in negotiated contracts.
