THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, AUGUST 1, 2013
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday,
August 1, 2013, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond,
Indiana.
Vice President Lawson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted:
ROLL CALL
Present were: Tony Foster and Dian Lawson. Absent was Vicki Robinson.
Also in attendance were Assistant City Attorney Kim Vessels, City Clerk Karen Chasteen, Sharon
Palmer, Grant Administrator; Greg Stiens, City Engineer, and, Media.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Minutes of the July 25, 2013 meeting were held until August 8, 2013.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Mr. Foster moved to approve the claims for payment for August 2, 2013 in the amount of Two Hundred
Twenty Four Thousand One Hundred Eighty Seven Dollars and seventy seven cents ($244,187.77) with
a second by Ms. Lawson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

CONTRACTS
A. CONTRACT NO. 105 -2013 — LWC INCORPORATED
Design services for structural repair of Parking Garage located at 15 South 7th Street
$6,500.00
Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Ms. Lawson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
CHANGE ORDERS
A. CONTRACT NO. 56 -2012 — CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
North 11th Street Sidewalk Rehabilitation Project
$15,780.00
Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Ms. Lawson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
