A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO RECEIVE A
DONATION FROM ECONOMIC GROWTH GROUP OF RICHMOND INDIANA INC.
WHEREAS, The City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting donations for a
specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, The acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the appropriation of such
property for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the following shall be accepted and gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
From the Economic Growth Group of Richmond Indiana Inc. ("EGG"), the donation of a total
amount of up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($100,000.00) to the City of
Richmond for the expenses incurred by the City in connection with the procedures conducted
pursuant to the Indiana Unsafe Building Law, IC 36-7-9-1 et seq., during the 2013 and 2014
calendar years.

of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
