AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AMENDED ORDINANCE NO.39-1988 (1989 SALARY ORDINANCE FOR
THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1989 AND
ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1989),
WHEREAS, Amended Ordinance No. 39-1988 established the various positions and salaries
for the officers and employees of the City of Richmond; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council approved the positions and salaries as set forth in Amended
Ordinance No. 39-1988; and,
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reflect the job position and salary changes for several
departments as set forth in Amended Ordinance No. 39-1988;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1. That for the fiscal year beginning January 1,1989 and ending December 31,
1989 that the following positions be deleted from Amended Ordinance No. 39-
1988:
Department of Public Works
Director EXECUTIVE II $33,500.
Department of Public Works - Public Transit Division
Public Trans/Grants Adm. PAT 1 $28,500.
Sec/Rec. (1 /2) COMOT IV 6,438.
Department of Public Works - Transportation Division
Sec/Rec (112) COMOTIV 6,310.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal year beginning January 1,1989 and ending December 31,
1989 that the following appointed officers and employees of the City of Richmond
shall receive the following salaries for their positions:
Mayor's Office
Grants Administrator SPECIALIST $31 ,000.
Department of Public Works
Director EXECUTIVE I $40,800.
Department of Public Works - Public Transit Division
Public Transit Manager PAT II $23,622.
Sec/Bookeeper. COMOT III 13,588.
Department of Public Works - Transportation Division
Sec/Rec COMOT IV 12,619.
