RESOLUTION# 2008-14
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE NOT TO EXCEED $26,000 FOR
TRAFFIC SIGNAL MASTARM REPAIR/REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS,the traffic signal located at the Alcoa main entrance in the City of Riverdale is in
need of repair/replacement after a traffic accident; and
WHEREAS, on June 4, 2008, Davenport Electric Contract Company presented a Proposal
pertaining to the repair/replacement of the traffic signal (the "Traffic Signal Project"),projecting
that the Traffic Signal Project will cost approximately$26,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa,
and the City is authorized to expend$26,000 to complete the Traffic Signal Project pursuant to
the Proposal submitted to it by representatives of Davenport Electric Contract Company.
This Resolution shall take immediate effect.
PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 17th day of June, 2008.
