AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING THE TEMPLE CITY ZONING
CODE RELATING TO HOME OCCUPATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City does
hereby find, determine and declare:
(a) That the Planning Commission has heretofore
determined that it is in the public interest, convenience,
and necessity to amend the Temple City Zoning Code to
clarify the terms and conditions under which home occu-
pations shall be permitted accessory uses in the residential
zones in the City;
(b). That Section 9202(20) of the Zoning Code provides
that home occupations are conditional uses, whereas
Section 9117(6) adequately sets forth the criteria under
which home occupations should be permitted accessory uses
in the residential zones; and
(c) That the public interest, convenience, and
necessity require the amendment of the Temple City Zoning
Code in the manner hereinafter set forth.
SECTION 2. Subparagraph (20) of Section 9202 of the Temple
City Municipal Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published as provided
by law.

I, Chief Deputy City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 77 -444, was
introduced at a Regular Meeting of the City Council on the 18th day
of January, 1977, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said
Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 1st. day
of February, 1977, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dennis, Gilbertson, Merritt, Tyrell, Greenberg
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- None
