HomeMy Public PortalAbout050-2013 - Zoning - O.C. to G.C. - Two tracks and a portion of North 11thORDINANCE 50-2013 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR CERTAIN PARCELS FROM OUTDOOR COMMERCIAL (OC) DISTRICT TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain adjacent properties commonly known as 1023 North 11t' Street, and 1020 North J Street, both in Richmond, Indiana, and each legally described as follows, to wit: 1023 North 11th Street: LOT 22 B & F 1020 North J Street: PT OM 418, PT LOT 3 & ALL LOTS 4 THRU 10 B F & PT VAC ALLEY CON *TIF* 4.759A, ALL IN THE NW SEC 33-14-1 as Outdoor Commercial (GC) District, as described on Exhibit A; and; WHEREAS, It is desirable to change the zoning designations to General Commercial (GC) District to allow the properties to be used consistent with General Commercial zoning. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designations of the above -described properties are changed to a General Commercial (GC) District. A pre -application meeting is required with the City of Richmond Planning staff per the procedures outlined in Article 9 of the Unified Development Ordinance. 2. An application for a Rezoning shall be made on a form provided by the Zoning . Administrator. 3. An Application for a Rezoning shall be accompanied by the following supporting information: a. A list of names and mailing addresses of all known adjacent property owners. b. Site Plan 4. An application for a Rezoning shall be filed at least twenty-eight (28) days prior to the public meeting at which it is first to be considered by the Plan Commission. S. Applicable fees shall be paid at the time the Application for a Rezoning is filed. 6. City of Richmond Planning Staff may place a sign on the parcel notifying the public of a scheduled hearing. 7.
