AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF GULF STRER4, FLORIDA,
LEVYING A TAX OF TEN (10) PER CENT. ON CHARGES
1 @0E BY THE TOWN FOR THE SALE OF WATER AND PRO-
VIDING THAT THE REVENUE THEREFROM SHALL BE USED
FOR INPROV'RilENTS TO THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEI�
OF THE TOWIT.
BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE TOWN CO104ISSION OF THE TOWN OF
GULF STREk,'., FLORIDA:
Section 1. There is hereby levied by the Town a
tax of ten (10) per cent. on all sales of water made by the Town,
said tax to be added to the water bills rendered by the Town.
Section 2. The revenue raised by said tax shall be
used for improvements to and extensions of the water distribution
system of the Town and may be accumulated over a period of years
or spent as necessary.
Section 3. The tag shall become effective immediately
on the adoption of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and proper posting according to the
charter act of the Town.
