AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY MAKING A ZONE CHANGE
FROM C -2 AND R -1 TO C -2 IN ZONE CASE
NO. 77 -504
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that an appli-
cation has been filed by the Continental Bank to change the zoning on
property located at 9934 East Las Tunas Drive from C -2 and R -1 to C -2
only; that a public hearing has been held on such application; and,
that it is in the public interest to rezone such property to C -2 for
the following reasons (as recommended by the Planning Commission in
Resolution No. 77 -752 P.C.):
1. The property is now split as to its zone and
should have one zone, namely C -2;
2. The size of the property in question is suit-
able for commercial development; and
3. The subject site has adequate street access to
Las Tunas Drive, as a primary road; and
4. The proposed zone change is consistent with
the General Plan of the City.
SECTION 2. Accordingly, the property in question is hereby re-
zoned from C -2 and R -1 to C -2 only.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and to its
approval by the Mayor.
APPROVED, PASSED, and ADOPTED this 2nd day of August
1977.
