ORDINANCE NO. 77 -454
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ADOPTING
SECTION 9119(L)(9)(A) OF THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO FRONT YARDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council, after proceeding as required
by law, adopts the addition of Section 9119(L)(9)(A) to the
Temple City Municipal Code as follows:
Sec. 9119(L)(9)(A): Indeterminate Front Yards.
In any of the following situations, the front yard and
front setback shall not be set or established by reference
to Sections 9119(L)(9), 9333(3), 9352(3), and 9362(3), but
instead at the time of any construction or development in-
volving a front or street side yard, shall be referred to
the Planning Commission for establishment of an appropriate
determination of the front yard or yards and also appro-
priate front yard setbacks by a noticed public hearing, which
determination shall then be subject to appeal to the City
Council in the manner established by the Zoning Code.
A. Any lot which abuts two separate streets, such as
a corner lot or a double frontage lot.
B. Any lot which is non - contiguous to any public
street but has access thereto by private easement.
C. Any lot which has less than 35 foot frontage on
public street.
SECTION 2, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause it to be published as required by
law.
