Airport Improvement Plan 031/033
Granite Excavation completed Runway 16/34 Rehab and Taxiway D Construction on Aug. 18, 2022. They will come back in October 2022 to do final coat of Taxiway D striping and plant grass
to the north of the new taxiway. The project went very well and reimbursements from FAA have gone through.
Obstruction Removal Plan
The Airport Manager is utilizing a new FAA tool to accurize FAA-identified obstructions at McCall Airport. The apple tree to the south has been topped by the city arborist, and information
has been disseminated to FAA with the goal of re-establishing the instrument approach from the south.
USFS Contract
USFS and the City of McCall worked together to get a new Base + Four Year contract in place. After several delays, the new award will be presented to Council on Sept. 8.
Airport Water/Sewer
Granite Excavation, Inc. submitted an updated estimate for the sewer line extension. This work should happen in late September 2022.
