AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO: 75 -412 OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY ORDINANCE
NO. 11558,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No.. 75 -412 is amended
be adopting by reference Los Angeles. County Ordinance No. 11558.
SECTION 2. Section 82 -8 (a) of Ordinance No. 11,096 is
amended to read:
Permits
For issuing permits, each

(Note: Thelbllowing do not include permit issuing fee.)
New Residential Building
The following fees shall include all wiring and electrical
equipment in or on each, building, or other electrical
equipment on the same premises constructed at the
same time.,
For new multi- family residentail buildings (apartments
and condominiums) having three (3) or more living
units including . attached and subterranean garages,
carports, and other noncommercial automobile storage
areas constructed at the same time, per square foot - -- .02
For detached garages, carports, And other accessory
buildings usd UNIT FEE SCHEDULE
For new single and two - family residential buildings
including garages, carports . and other minor accessory
buildings constr -ucted at, the:same time, per square
foot .025
For other types of residential occupancies and alterations,
additions and modifications to existing residential
buildings, use UNIT FEE SCHEDULE.
Private Swimming Pools
For new private, residential, in- ground, swimming pools
for single family, multi- family occupancies including
a complete system of necessary branch circuit wiring,
bonding, grounding, underwater lighting, water
pumping and other similar electrical equipment directly
related to the operation of a swimming pool, each 25.00
For other types of swimming pools, therapeutic whirlpools,
spas, and alterations to existing swimming pools,
use UNIT FEE SCHEDULE.
Carnivals and Circuses
Carnivals, circuses or other traveling shows or exhibitions
utilizing transportable type rides, booths, displays,
and attractions.
For electric generators and electrically driven rides,

For mechanically driven rides and walk - through attractions
or displays having electric lighting, each
For a system of area lighting, each
For permanently installed rides, booths, displays, and

Temporary Power Service
For a temporary service power pole or pedestal including
all pole or pedestal mounted receptacle outlets
and appurtenances, each
For a temporary distribution system and temporary lighting
and recepticle outlets for construction sites,
decorative lighting, Christmas Tree sales.lots,
fireworks stands, sales booths, etc., each

For fixed residential: appliances or receptacle outlets

self- contained room,: console, or through wall air
conditioners; space heaters,. food _waste grinders;
dishwashers; washing machines; water heaters; clothes
dryers; or other motor operated appliances, not exceeding
one (1) horsepower (HP) in rating:,,each.
Note: For other types of air conditioners and other motor
driven appliances having larger electrical ratings,..

Non - Residential Appliances
For residential appliances and self- contained, factory
wired, non - residential appliances.' not exceeding one
(1) horsepower (HP) kilowat : (KW).., or kilovolt-
ampere (KVA), in rating including. medical , and dental
device; food, beverage, and ice -cream cabinets,
illuminated showcases, drinking fountains, vending
machines, laundry machines, or other similar types of
equipment, each. T
Note: For other types of air conditioners and other motor
driven appliances having larger electrical ratings,
see Power Apparatus.

Signs, Outline Lighting, and Marquees
For signs, outline lighting systems, or marquees supplied
from one branch circuit, each

power apparatus, busways, signs or other equipment.
Other Inspections
For each extra inspection resulting from defective workmanship
or materials, each

is herein set forth and for emergency inspections
for the time consumed per hour

the 17th day of January, 1978 and was duly passed, approved and adopted-
