AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ORDINANCE
(AMENDED ORDINANCE 45-1986) TO REQUIRE THAT MEMBERS OF THE HUMAN
RIGHTS COMMISSION AND ITS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BE RESIDENTS OF THE CIVIL
CITY OF RICHMOND.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond that the Human Rights Commission
Ordinance (Amended Ordinance No. 45-1986) be amended as follows:
By adding Section 4(A) (9)
All members appointed to the Human Rights Commission, and the Executive Director of the Commission, shall
reside within the Civil City of Richmond during their tenure.
