Pull new copper and fiber cables and tie into the existing. Splice all new facilities to keep all customers and networks working properly. This is the main fiber backbone so fiber splicing will have to be done at midnight. Remove all existing aerial strands and cables in order to take down the poles that are in conflict in this project. Place new risers and anchors at the ends of the aerial section, where we come down to underground. Traffic control for 1-2 days to remove all abandoned facilities. Overhead to Overhead: Place 2 new Ziply poles and remove the old ones. Transfer all aerial attachments as is onto the new aerial lead (4 IPCO poles and 2 new Ziply fiber poles). No need for any new copper or fiber. No need for any new splicing. Ziply would need traffic control for 1-2 days for the pole replacement and facility transfer.
