AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF" THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING SECTIONS 9333(7) AND
9352(8) OF THE TEMPLE CITY ZONING CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1., Pursuant to the provisions and procedures of the
State Planning Law, the City Council hereby amends the following
Code Sections as set forth below:
Section 9333(7). Minimum Gross Floor Area for New Dwelling Units.
1) One- bedroom units shall contain not less than
800 sq. ft,
2) Two- bedroom units shall contain not less than
1,000 sq. ft,
3) Three- bedroom units shall contain not less than
1,200 sq. ft,
4) Each additional bedroom over 3 shall have a minimum
of 150 sq. ft. of floor area.
Section 9352(8), Minimum Gross Floor Area for New Dwelling Units.
1) One- bedroom units shall contain not less than 800
sq, ft,
2) Two- bedroom units shall contain not less than
1,000 sq, ft,
3) Three- bedroom units shall contain not less than
1,200 sq, ft,
4) Each additional bedroom over 3 shall have a minimum
of 150 sq. ft, of floor area,
SECTION 2, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in the Temple City
Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Temple City.

I, Chief Deputy City Clerk, do hereby certify that the foregoing
IOrdinance, being Ordinance No. 78 -464, was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the
2nd day of May, 1978, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said
City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk, at a regular meeting of the said City Council held on the
day of May, 1978, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- None
