AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY ADDING SECTIONS 9331 (2)(b)(1)
9350 (2) (b) (1) (a) and 9360 (2) (b) (1) (a)
TO THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council, after proceeding as required by law,
rders that Sections 9331 (2)(b)(1), 9350 (2) (b) (1) (a) and 9360 (2) (b)
1)(a), reading as follows be added to the Temple City Zoning Ordinance.
Section 9331 (2)(b)(1). If there is more than one
residential dwelling unit on. an R-1 lot, then the
limitation of household pets shall not exceed two per
residential dwelling unit for two such units, and one
per residential dwelling unit for three or more such
units.
Section 9350 (2) (b) (1) (a) , If there is only one
residential dwelling unit on said lot, then the limitation
shall be three such household pets, and if there are two
such units on said lot, then the limitation shall be
two household pets per unit, and if there are three or
more such units on said lot, then the limitation shall
be one household pet per unit.
Section 9360 (2)(b) 1) a). If there is only one residential
dwelling unit on said lot, then the limitation shall be
three such household pets, and if there are two residential
dwelling units on said lot, then the limitation shall .
be two household pets per unit, and if there are three
or more such units on said lot, then the limitation shall
be one household pet per unit.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to its approval by the
Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in the Temple City Times, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance,. being Ordinance
o. 78 -466, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Temple City, held on the 20th day of June, 1978, and was
my passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting held on the.
18th day of July , 1978, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen- Merritt
ABSENT: Councilmen- None
