AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING
SECTION 9291 OF THE TEMPLE CITY ZONING CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The following paragraphs are hereby deleted from
Section 9291 of the Temple City Zoning Code:
"Banks, business or professional offices: One (1) parking
space for each 400 square feet of gross floor area" and
"Furniture and appliance stores, hardware stores, household
equipment, service shops, clothing or shoe repair or personal
service shops and all other retail stores, except as otherwise
specified herein: One (1) parking space for each 400 square
feet of gross floor area."
The City Council, after proceeding as required by law, hereby
amends Section 9291 to the Temple City Zoning Code, as follows:
"Banks, business or professional offices, furniture and
appliance stores, hardware, household and equipment stores,
hardware, household and equipment stores, service shops and
all other retail stores, except as otherwise specified herein;
One (1) parking space for each 250 square feet of gross floor
area."
SECTION 2. The following paragraph is hereby added under
"dwelling units" in Section 9291:
"Condominiums: Two (2) parking spaces (enclosed in a garage
with door) per dwelling unit, plus one (1) additional enclosed
or unenclosed for each two dwelling units."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor and
shall cause the same to be published in the Temple City Times, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated
in the City of Temple City.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 78 -467, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Temple City, held on the 18th day of July, 1978, and
was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular
meeting of said City Council held on the 1st day of August , 1978,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
