FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE SALE OF PARK DISTRICT BONDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION OF PARK FACILITIES. WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporaion the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED PARK BOND FUND $2,000,000. $2,000,000. SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purposes specified. Said sum being subject to the laws governing the same. AMOUNT APPROPRIATED PROCEEDS OF BOND SALE $2,000,000. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. Councilmember Morris presided with the following members present: Councilmembers: llstro, Williams, Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Hutton, and Paust. Absent: None The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented Proof of Publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the date of August 4, 1988. Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the 15th day of August, 1988, by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the year 1988 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Proof of Publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilmember Brookbank moved the Proof of Publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilmember Hutton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 52-1988. President Morris announced Ordinance No. 52-1988 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 52-1988 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro, Wiliams, Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Hutton, Parker, Paust and Morris Nays: None The vote being 9 to 0 in favor of the passage of Ordinance No. 52-1988 (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed the meeting was adjourned. /s/ Lynn Nepote Morris President of Common Council NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF[ PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS[ Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at their regular meeting place at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 15th day of August, 1988, will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.[ AMOUNT REQUESTED [ PARK BOND FUND $2,000,000.[ To be used for the following:[ Construction and Rehabilitation of Park Facilities $ 2,000,000[ Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon.
