Minutes of the Strategic Planning Meeting of the Village President and the Board of Trustees
Held on May 4, 2016
Plainfield Central High School (Cafeteria)
24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive
Plainfield, IL
Mr. Lew Bender called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Present were: Trustee
Bonuchi, Trustee Lamb, Trustee O'Rourke, Trustee Peck, and Trustee Wojowski. Mayor Collins and
Trustee Racich were absent. Others present: Lewis G. Bender, Facilitator; Brian Murphy,
Administrator; Traci Pleckham, Management Services Director; Jon Proulx, Planning Director;
Rick Kaczanko, IT Director; Ken Goska, Building Official; Amy DeBoni, Community Relations
Director; Allen Persons, Public Works Director; and John Konopek, Police Commander.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
Administrator Murphy gave a status update on the progress of the Strategic Plan over the past three
years.
Mr. Lewis Bender, Facilitator, stated that the purpose of the meeting is to discuss the shared vision
for the Village. The Board, staff, and residents sat in five different breakout groups to discuss shared
5 year vision of the community.
Administrator Murphy thanked everyone for their participation and pointed out that the next Strategic
Planning Meeting will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016.
The meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
