A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR
REZONING OF: TRACT #1 FROM R2 TO R4, TRACT #2 FROM R2
TO R4, TRACT #3 FROM R4 TO R8, TRACT #4 FROM R2 TO R8
AND TRACT #5 FROM R4 TO R2 IN WILLOW RIDGE
Whereas, The City has received a request to rezone portions of the Willow Ridge to R8,
R4 and R2 zoning, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the rezoning is necessary
to build the desired development posed by MMS Consultants Inc.;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
public hearing date for January 9, 2012 for the rezoning of the Willow Ridge property.
On the 12th day of December, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2012 -85, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE
FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING OF: TRACT #1 FROM R2 TO R4, TRACT #2
FROM R2 TO R4, TRACT #3 FROM R4 TO R8, TRACT #4 FROM R2 TO R8 AND TRACT #5
FROM R4 TO R2 IN WILLOW RIDGE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared
that the Resolution No. 2012 -85, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING FOR REZONING OF: TRACT #1 FROM R2 TO R4, TRACT #2 FROM R2
TO R4, TRACT #3 FROM R4 TO R8, TRACT #4 FROM R2 TO R8 AND TRACT #5 FROM R4
TO R2 IN WILLOW RIDGE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12th day of December, 2012.
