AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF GRANT MONEY FROM THE
PARTNERSHIP FOR A DRUG FREE WAYNE COUNTY
WHEREAS, on January 7, 1997, the Richmond Police Department applied to the
Partnership For A Drug Free Wayne County for an Inter -Agency
Communication Update Grant in the amount of Four Thousand Five
Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($4,525.00); and
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1997, the Richmond Police Department applied to the
Partnership For A Drug Free Wayne County for a Juvenile Detention: Child
Protection Placement Grant in the amount of One Thousand Six Hundred
Sixty-six Dollars ($1,666.00); and
WHEREAS, on February 5, 1997, both grants were awarded to the Richmond Police
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The above -referenced Inter -Agency Communication Update Grant in the amount
of Four Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($4,525.00) is hereby accepted and
appropriated to the following account for the purchase of five portable radios:
101-02-010-1001-4-4470 Radio Equipment
2. The above -referenced Juvenile Detention: Child Protection Placement Grant in
the amount of One Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-six Dollars ($1,666.00) is hereby
accepted and appropriated to the following account for the purchase of three cell phones
and two pager rentals:
101-02-010-1001-3-3990 Cell Phone Purchase and Pager Rentals
