HomeMy Public PortalAbout053-1988-TRANSFER WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUNDAN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND WHEREAS, It has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within the fund appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana; SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND 4000-Capital Outlays $ 10,000. $ 10,000. SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND 1000-Personal Services $ 10,000. $ 10,000. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. This transfer was made at a regular public meeting according to proper ordinance, a copy of which is attached to this certificate. EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING „9F THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City on August 15, 1988, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Councilmember Morris presided with the following members present: Council members: Elstro, Williams, Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Hutton,Paust and Morris Absent: None The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented Proof of Publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the date of (Public Law 54) 1988. Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , 1988, by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the year 1988 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Proof of Publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilmember moved the Proof of Publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilmember and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 53-1988. President Morris announced Ordinance No. 53-1988 was on public hearing.
