Plan Commission Case PC-88-15
Dear Mrs. Morris, Members of Common Council and
Mrs. Merchanthouse:
FRANK H. WALTERMANN
MAYOR
OANIEL S. OOOLEY
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING,
PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS
The Richmond City Plan Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday,
October 25, 1988, on the petition of Mary E. Bowling, owner, Portia
Warren, Agent, requesting to rezone property located at 1804 Rich Road,
from M-2 General Industrial to R-2 Single Family Residence District,
Six (6) notices of public hearing were sent to the surrounding residents
with none returned. During the public hearing no one spoke in opposition
to the petition.
The use of the property in question is residential and it is adjacent to
other residential land uses. The Plan Commission determined that the
Industrial zoning classification assigned to the property was in error.
Therefore, the Plan Commission voted eight (8) to zero (0) to recommend
that Ordinance No. 72-1988 be adopted.
Respectfully submitted,
