October 22, 2008 4:30 PM City Hall
I. Call to Order: Roll Call
A. Mayor Murray called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM. Upon roll call by Deputy Clerk
Treasurer Pam Pierce the following were present: Thom Morris and Trudy Selvia.
II. Special Requests
A. None heard.
III. Approval of Minutes
A. Regular Session — September 24, 2008
B. Special Session — October 6, 2008
1. Motion by Trudy Selvia to approve minutes as presented, second by Thom Morris,
unanimous approval.
Department Reports
® A. Fire Department — Bill Newgent
B. Police Dept. —Tom Sutherlin
C. Department of Public Works — Brad Phillips
D. Planner — Shannon Norman
1. Planner Norman updated board as of the end of September and October.
Attending meetings on 319 Big Walnut Watershed management plan. Applying for
2 nd phase of grant that will be awarded in August of 2009. October 18` met with
Kristen Phillips from high school regarding Big Walnut clean up day. Also discussed
tree projects. Update on MS4 audit and documents mailed to IDEM.
E. Water & Wastewater — George Russell
1. Reported Jackson Street Lift station moving along.
F. Attorney — Laurie Hardwick

A. North Jackson Street Lift Station
1. Change Order
a) Motion by Thom Morris to approve moving ahead with change order,
second by Trudy Selvia, unanimous approval.
B. 2008 Sidewalk Project
1. Change Order

unanimous approval.

1. Motion by Thom Morris to approve claims as presented, second by Trudy Selvia,
unanimous approval.
