Minutes
September 5, 2017 5:30 P.M. Greencastle City Hall
I. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor William Dory called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM; upon roll by Clerk-
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present: Adam Cohen, Stacie
Langdon, Steve Fields, Tyler Wade, Mark Hammer Gary Lemon, and Dave
Murray.
II. New Business
A. Budget Discussion- Updated Budget Expenses, Revenues, Proposed Tax
Rates and Historical Cash Flow Analysis. General discussion was held on
areas we could reduce the budget so we would be able to provide the services
in years to come. Dave Murray stressed we have to get an individual hired or
pulled from the street department to keep the downtown cleaned up. Council
wanted to see the impact on the Cemetery Budget if an emptoyee was removed
and transferred to another department in the city. Further discussion on the
budget will be held at the next City Council Meeting on September 14, 2017.
III. Adjournment
Motion by Gary Lemon to dismiss at 7:25 PM, second by Mark Hammer,
7-0, motion carried.
