I. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor William Dory called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM; upon roll by Clerk-
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present: Adam Cohen, Stacie
Langdon, Steve Fields, Mark Hammer and Gary Lemon. Tyler Wade and Dave
Murray absent.
I1. Public Hearing- 2018 Budget Hearing- No discussion — Motion by Adam
Cohen to close the public hearing, second by Mark Hammer, 5-0 motion
carried.
III. New Business
A. Ordinance 2017-9-(First Reading) An Ordinance for Appropriations
and Tax Rates.- Motion by Gary Lemon to approve Ordinance 2017-9
on first reading, second by Stacie Langdon, 5-0, motion carried.
B. Ordinance 2017-10-(First Reading) An Ordinance Establishing the
Size of the Departments of the City Government of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries for the Employees of Such
Departments and Fixing the Salaries of Certain Other Appointed
Officials for the Year 2018.- Motion by Adam Cohen to approve
Ordinance 2017-10 on first reading, second by Steve Fields, 5-0, motion
carried.
C. Ordinance 2017-11- (First Reading) An Ordinance Fixing the Salaries
of the Elected Officers of the City of Greencastle for the Year 2018.-
Motion by Adam Cohen to approve Ordinance 2017-11 on first reading,
second by Mark Hammer, 5-0, motion carried.
IV. Adjournment- Motion by Steve Fields to dismiss at 7:55 PM, se nd by Mark
Hammer, 5-0, motion carried ' ^
