C) PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS D) TRUSTEES COMMENTS E) PUBLIC COMMENTS (3-5 minutes) F) WORKSHOP 1) NORMANTOWN TRAIL Representatives of the Forest Preserve District of Will County would like to introduce plans for extending the Normantown Trail near Plainfield’s northern border, generally north of 119th Street and west of 248th Avenue. Village staff has begun coordination on the project, which will advance several Strategic Planning goals, including inter-governmental coordination and providing path connections. Michael P. Special Meeting and Committee of the Whole Agenda July 11, 2016 Page 2 of 2 2) FOOD TRUCK POLICY Pursuant to recent Village Board discussion, staff will present information on potential food truck regulations to address current and potential future requests. The workshop will allow for a discussion of food trucks and opportunities to modify the Village’s existing informal policies and/or provide direction for a more formalized zoning regulation and/or permit process. G) EXECUTIVE SESSION Seeking a motion to adjourn to Executive Session as permitted under the Open Meetings Act Section 2 (c)(1) to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of employees or legal counsel, not to reconvene.
