AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE A DONATION
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting
donations for a specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the
appropriation of such property for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that all donations during the calendar year 1997 for the following Parks and Recreation
programs shall be accepted and gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
1. Gorge Clean Up
2. March for Parks
3. Arbor Day
4. Sizzling Summer 5K
5. Family Outdoor Movie Series
6. Youth Challenges
7. Pool Theme Parties
8. Rose Festival 5K
9. J.U.K.O.
10, Kids Kamp
11. Pre -School Programs
12. Sports/Fitness Festival
13. Jr./Adult Golf Tournament
14. Fishing Tournaments
15. Reservoir Operations
16. Family Fun Festival
17. Fright Night
18. Haunted Forest
19. Celebration of Lights
20, Flower/Garden Classes
21. Junior Rangers.
Passed and adopted this day of _ - 1997, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
