RESOLUTION NO. 2020.157
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
COUNTY OF LOS .NGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AN AG>"EEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE
LYNWOOD EMPLOYEES' MANAGEMENT GROUP
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is a General Law City under California law and is
governed by an elected City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood approved a Memorandum of
Understanding ("MOU") between the City of Lynwood and the Lynwood Employees'
Management Group ("LEMG") for the term of July 1, 2017 through June 20, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has also seen a decline in revenues as a result
of the COVID-19 pandemic; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood deems it in the best interest
of the City to approve an Agreement; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE LYN'-`;.'OOD CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approve the attached draft agreement, subject to finalizing by the
Acting City Manager of any non-economic terms and approval by the LEMG Governing
Board.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and
hereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
