Meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. Mayor Castro presiding. 02. CERTIFICATION OF AGENDA POSTING BY CITY CLERK City Clerk Quinonez announced the Agenda has been duly posted in accordance with the Brown Act. 03. ROLL CALL OF COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS SANTANA, SOLACHE, MAYOR PRO CASANOVA, AND MAYOR CASTRO ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBER ALATORRE STAFF PRESENT: Acting City Manager Ramirez, City Attorney Tapia, City Treasurer Camacho and City Clerk Quinonez. 04. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was postponed to the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. 05. INVOCATION The Invocation was postponed to the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS (Regarding Agenda Items Only. Complete public comment available upon request with the City Clerk) Natalia Medina spoke in regards to item 6C. NON-AGENDA PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS NONE Closed Session City Attorney Tapia read the Council into closed session. 6A. With respect to every item of business to be discussed in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL—ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9: Number of Cases: One (1) 6B. With respect to every item of business to be discussed in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL—ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (4) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9: Number of Cases: One (1) 6C. With respect to every item of business to be discussed in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6: CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS Agency designated representatives: Michelle G. Ramirez, Cynthia Stafford, and Sheila Delshad (Burke, Williams & Sorensen) Employee Organization: Lynwood Employees' Association and Lynwood Employees' Management Group MOTION: Mayor Castro recessed into closed session at 5:09 p.m. ROLL CALL: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS SANTANA, SOLACHE, MAYOR PRO TEM CASANOVA, AND MAYOR CASTRO NOES: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBER ALATORRE Council reconvened at 6:13 pm. City Attorney Tapia reported the following out of closed session, with intent to return to closed session to continue discussion on 6B after the regular meeting: 6A. With all five (5) members of the council present at closed session staff made a presentation, Council gave direction, no final action taken, and nothing further to report. 6B. ADJOURNMENT Having no further discussion, it was moved by Mayor Pro Tern Casanova, seconded by Council Member Solache to adjourn the Closed Session meeting.
