ORDINANCE 2017-11
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE ELECTED OFFICERS OF THE CITY
OF GREENCASTLE FOR THE YEAR 2018
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, that
the following total sum of all monies shall be payable beginning January 1, 2018 through
December 31, 2018.
SECTION ONE: That the salaries of elected officials of the City of Greencastle shall
be as follows:
Mayor $60,000.00
Clerk Treasurer $56,000.00
Common Council (7) $ 4,878.00 each for a total of $34,146
SECTION TWO: That the General Fund shalt pay to the Mayor of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the General Fund during the
year 2018 the sum of $20,000.00.
That the General Fund shall pay to the Clerk Treasurer of the City of Greencastle for
services rendered by the Clerk Treasurer on behalf of the General Fund during the year
2016 the sum of $18,666.66.
That the General Fund shall pay to each member of the Common Council of the City
of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf of the General Fund
during the year 2018 the sum of $3,707.28.
SECTION THREE: That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the Mayor of
the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the Department of
Water Works during the year 2018 the sum of $20,000.00.
That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the Clerk Treasurer of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Clerk Treasurer on behalf of the Department of
Water Works during the year 2016 the sum of $18,666.67
That the Department of Water Works shall pay to each member of the Common
Council of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf
of the Department of Water Works during the year 2018 the sum of $585.36.
SECTION FOUR: That the Department of Sewage shall pay to the Mayor of the City
of Greencastle for services rendered by the Mayor on behalf of the Department of Sewage
during the year 2018 the sum of $20,000.00.
That the Department of Sewage shall pay to the Clerk Treasurer of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Clerk Treasurer on behalf of the Department of
Sewage during the year 2018 the sum of $18,666.67.
That the Department of Sewage shall pay to each member of the Common Council of
the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf of the
Department of Sewage during the year 2018 the sum of $585.36.
