RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
TO PROVIDE LOCAL MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE
BELMONT ROAD PAVING PROJECT
CORRAL COURT TO VALLEY DRIVE
UNDER THE NEW TRANSPORTATION BILL
WHEREAS,the Bi-State Regional Commission's Transportation Policy Committee has
requested the submission of eligible street projects for ranking for federal aid, and
WHEREAS,the City of Riverdale also requests the consideration of funding for the
Belmont Road Paving Project under the new Transportation Bill from Corral Court to
Valley Drive,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Riverdale,
Iowa acknowledges the responsibility to provide the local funding for the Belmont Road
Project and pledges to amend the City's Capital improvement budget to include the City
of Riverdale's share of the local funding estimated to be approximately $300,000.00
(three hundred thousand dollars).
