ORDINANCE 2017-12
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF AND FIXING THE SALARIES FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE
GREENCASTLE MUNICIPAL WATER AND WASTEWATER,GREENCASTLE,INDIANA FOR THE YEAR 2018.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana,as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the Greencastle Municipal Water and Wastewater shall pay all eligible employees 26 bi-
weekly pays effective with pay date beginning Januarv 12,2018 at the rates listed in SECTION TWO,below. In
addition,all eligible full-time members of the Greencastle Municipal Water and Wastewater shall be paid longevity
pay,calculated at a percentage of their base pay,beginning on the first day of the anniversary month of
employment as follows:

Date of hire through 35 months(2 years, 11 months) 0%
36 months through 71 months(5 years, 11 months) 3%
72 months through 131 months(10 years, 11 months) 4o�a
132 months through 167(13 years, 11 months) 5%
168 months or more 6%
Full-time members shall be compensated for authorized oveRime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standard Act,
29 U.S.C.A.207.
SECTION TWO: That the Greencastle Municipal Water and Wastewater shall consist of,up to,ninteen(19)full
time members and four(4)part-time members. Base pay range may start at the entry level amount or any amount
in between up to the maximum base pay as foliows:

The Greencastle Municipal Water and Wastewater shall pay the designated amount to the following employees of
the City of Greencastle for services rendered on behalf of the Greencastle Municipal Water and Wastewater during
the year 2018
City Attorney(2/3 pay) $ 1,615.38 $ 2,082.35
Deputy Clerk Treasurer(1/3 pay) $ 384.62 $ 565.31
That the Greencastle Municipal Water and Wastewater shall pay to each of the two(2)citizen members of the
Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Greencastle for the services rendered by the citizen members of
the Board of Public Works and Safety on behalf of the Greencastle Municipal Water and Wastewater during the
year 2018 the sum of,two thousand one hundred forty dollars($2,140.00).
