C) PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS D) TRUSTEES COMMENTS E) PUBLIC COMMENTS (3-5 minutes) F) WORKSHOP 1) IMS PAVEMENT CONDITION AND MANAGEMENT During the summer of 2011, the Village authorized Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) to complete a comprehensive evaluation of the pavement condition within the 400 lane miles that are part of our roadway network. Once this data was collected, the Village developed a five-year roadway resurfacing plan and completed most of work that was identified within this plan. Understanding that our roadways are due for an updated evaluation, the Board approved funding for this type of professional service. A representative from IMS will provide a brief presentation and answer questions related to this service. 2) DOWNTOWN PARKING As requested by several residents/business owners and memorialized within our Strategic Plan, the Board expressed the desire to conduct a comprehensive survey identifying how many parking spaces are utilized during various days and times of the week and to complete a report regarding the data collected from this survey. Developing cost estimates for future improvements was also identified. A representative from Baxter & Woodman, the Village’s Engineer, will outline ideas as to how this could be completed and seek input from the Board regarding the level of detail that should be included within this study.
