A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 217
South A Street
WHEREAS the zoning map designates real estate at 217 South A Street
as R-3 Special Use for Water Care Lab and storage area, and
WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to R-3 Special
Use for a general business office.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the zoning designation of he real estate at 217 South A Street, is hereby
changed to R-3 Special Use for a ge Verailt�usiness office.
Passed and adopted this day lc u .= 1997, by the Common Council
of the City of Richmond, Indiana.

Dear Council Member:
This ordinance relates to amending the zoning map at 217 South A Street as R-3 Special Use for
Water Care Lab to R-3 Special Use for a general business office.
The ordinance should be referred to Plan Commision for public hearing at its meeting on May 22,
1997.
The ordinance should be back to Council for second reading on June 2, 1997.

Dear Mr. Dickman:
Please advise the members of Common Council that the Richmond Advisory Plan
Commission conducted a public hearing, Thursday, May 22, 1997, on the petition of
Robert Wilcox, Cool Care, Inc., owner; Robert Wadle, agent; requesting a Special Use
District classification in the the R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District for a
General Business Office/Insurance and Bonding, located at 217 South A Street,
Richmond, Indiana.
Notices were delivered to seven surrounding property owners, with one comment -
expressing no objection, returned to this office.
The Plan Commission voted 8 in favor, with 3 absent, to recommend the passage of
Ordinance No. 43-1997.
