AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS
APPROVING REVISED BUDGET FIGURES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, expenditures in excess of the 2017-2018 adopted appropriations for each fund
require budget amendments in accordance with the Charter of the City of Richland Hills, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Richland Hills, Texas (hereinafter referred to as the
City") has prepared a revision of certain figures in the 2017-2018 adopted budget and
submitted same to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all of the above premises are found to be true and correct and are incorporated
into the body of this Ordinance as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the revised budget figures, prepared and submitted by the City Manager for the
2017-2018 budget, be, and the same are hereby, in all things, approved and appropriated, and
any necessary transfers between accounts and departments are hereby authorized, approved
and appropriated.
Section 3. That the Annual Operating Budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 is hereby amended to
reflect the changes shown on the attachment.
Section 4. That this ordinance will become effective immediately following its final passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED on this 21St day of June, 2018.
