the Following were found to be present: Councilor Roach Councilor Hammer, CpLI
Councilor Baynard and Councilor Masten. Also present was C�tv Attorney Zeiner.
Public Petitions and Comments
There were an public petitions or comments.
General Business
Resolution 1996-9, A Resolution Author zing a One (1 j Year Extension of The Cable Franchise
Agreement was read by Mayor ,Michael. After discussion, Councilor Hammer made a motion to
approve Resolution 1996 -9, seconded by Councilor Roach. Vote was unanimous.
Resolution :996 -1 L .A Resolution Authorizing The Creation Of a Finance Committee and
Budget Committee was read by Mayor Vhchaei. After some discussion, Councilor Masten made
the motion to approve Resolution 1996 -11 with the addition of. Be it further resolved that
claims shall be made by the Common Council beginning with those
approval of General Fund
claims approved in July, 1c Councilor Green seconded. Vote was as Follows: Councilor
Roach. yes: Councilor Green. yes Councilor Baynard. no and Councilor Ntasten, yes. Motion
passed three to one. Councilor Hammer had to leave before the .rote to attend another meeting.
City Engineer Barnes reported to the Council that he had just attended a County Commissioner
meetimg and is in the process of working with County Engineer Tom Martin regarding the
culvert repairs on Albin Pond Road. Engineer Barnes stated he feels this culvert can be repaired
and new guardrail installed for under 550,000.00
Being no further business Councilor Baynard made the motion to adjourn, seconded by
Councilor Masten. Vote was unanimous.
