A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF LETTER BY
VILLAGE MANAGER WITH MIAMI-DADE COUNTY FOR
THE PROVISION OF LAWN MAINTENANCE FOR THE KEY
BISCAYNE BRANCH LIBRARY FOR TWO ADDITIONAL
YEARS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village Council desired to accomplish work outlined in the accompanying
agreement dated May 17, 1994 by and between Miami -Dade County and the Village of Key
Biscayne, which was approved by Resolution 94-7, adopted March 8, 1994, for a two year period
until May 31, 1996;
WHEREAS, the agreement was extended for two (2) additional years until May 31, 1998,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY BISCAYNE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Be it resolved by the Council of the Village of Key Biscayne, Florida that the
Council, approves the continuation of the agreement substantially in the form attached between
Miami -Dade County and the Village of Key Biscayne for the provision of lawn maintenance services
for the Key Biscayne Library; to direct the Village Manager to forward a letter on behalf of the
Village of Key Biscayne authorizing the extension of the maintenance agreement for Key Biscayne
Branch Library; effective May 18, 1998 through May 17, 2000 at a cost of $242 per month.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
