SUBJECT: ON STREET DISABLED PARKING REQUEST
5137 ALVADA STREET
BACKGROUND:
Staff received a request for an on-street disabled parking space from a resident living at
5137 Alvada Street. Staff reviewed the application on February 22, 2021.
ANALYSIS:
Staff observed that the applicant had a driveway approach on the side of the property.
The applicant has access to an on-site parking facility but cannot be accessed through
the front of the property. Resident is requesting to have blue curb on the side of
property due to having closer access to their property.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Public Safety, Traffic and Parking Commission review this
application and concur with staff's approval of the on-street disabled parking request in
front of 5137 Alvada Street.
