A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF ONE STREET LIGHT BY
LINN COUNTY REC AT THE INTERSECTION OF JASPER AVENUE AND HIGHWAY
6 ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE INTERSECTION
Whereas, The City has indicated the stretch of street from the 380 underpass to the
City Park area is very dark and not well lighted, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the intersection of Jasper
Avenue and Highway 6 would be the best location for the placement of a street light;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the installation of one street light at the Intersection of Jasper Avenue and Highway 6.
On the 19th day of December, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Phillips introduced Resolution No. 2012 -91, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF ONE STREET LIGHT BY LINN COUNTY REC
AT THE INTERSECTION OF JASPER AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 6 ON THE NORTH
SIDE OF THE INTERSECTION and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Ryan, Kahler, Upton, Bartels, Phillips
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -91, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
INSTALLATION OF ONE STREET LIGHT BY LINN COUNTY REC AT THE
INTERSECTION OF JASPER AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 6 ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
THE INTERSECTION to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing
his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 19th day of December, 2012.
