A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY
BISCAYNE, FLORIDA; RECOGNIZING THE
FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT TASK FORCE FOR
THEIR EFFORTS IN PROVIDING THE VILLAGE OF
KEY BISCAYNE WITH A FLOODPLAIN
MANAGEMENT PLAN; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Floodplain Management Task Force was appointed by the Village Manager
to study the feasibility of such plan; and
WHEREAS, the Floodplain Management Task Force has done an excellent job in providing
the Village with research and information regarding the plan adoption and implementation; and
WHEREAS, the Plan was adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Key Biscayne
on April 28, 1998.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE THAT:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of Key Biscayne wishes to recognize the
Working Review Committee consisting of the following individuals: Deborah De Leon, A.I.A.,
Chairman; Maribel Balbin; Robert Cuevas, P.E., D.E.E.; Brian Flynn; Councilmember Gregory C.
Han, Ph.D.; Lee Niblock, CLP and Ronald White.
Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May , 1998.
