HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 23-05 PD Personal Property Surplus Transferlee City of McCal I RESOLUTION NO. 23-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO RELATING TO SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY; DECLARING PERSONAL PROPERTY SURPLUS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE POLICE CHIEF TO TRANSFER PERSONAL PROPERTY TO ANOTHER AGENCY; PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of McCall, Idaho ("City") has acquired certain personal property for the purpose of carrying out services in the public interest; and WHEREAS, certain items of personal property of the City have become worn out, obsolete, or are no longer needed by the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed it unnecessary to maintain ownership of surplus personal property as listed on Attachment A; and WHEREAS, the City Council, desires to declare as surplus personal property as listed on Attachment A; and. NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the City Council of McCall, Idaho as follows: Section 1: The City Council finds and declares that the City no longer has a use for the surplus property listed on Attachment A. Section 2: The Police Chief is authorized and directed to transfer the LifeLoc breath testing equipment to Adams County Sheriff's Office and dispose of the breath testing equipment Intoxilyzer and four Alco Sensors. Section 3: This Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval.
