ORDINANCE NO. .3 L/
ANNEXATION ORDINANCE
AN Offi)INANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
SEDGWICK COUNTY, KANSAS, IN CONFORMITY WITH K.S.A. 12-519,
et. seq. as amended.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
Section 1. The following described land, to wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Rock Road and Forty-fifth
Street North; thence along the west line of Rock Road bearing
S o~ 48' 47" E a distance of 875.19 feet to the north line of
the Missouri Pacific Railroad right-of-way; thence along said
right-of-way bearing S 61~ 30' 24" W a distance of 1489.90 feet;
thence N O~ 47' 54" W a distance of 1561.22 feet to a point on
the South line of 45th Street North; thence along said south
line bearing N 880 55' 22" E a distance of 1319.00 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 36.89 acres, more or less.
is hereby annexed into and made a part of the City of Bel Aire, Sedgwick
County, Kansas, in conformity with K.S.A. 12-519 et. seq. as amended.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication in the official city newspaper.
